BI exists to promote the Christian faith by fostering a better understanding and practice of the administration of baptism in the Church of England. We believe children who are baptised should be given the fullest opportunity to take part in the life of the church. BI affirms both the practice of baptising the infants of practising Christians and also of deferring baptism until later years. We affirm the relevance and value of the service of Thanksgiving for the gift of a child. We are a thirty-three year-old organisation and we are about to enter a new phase in our mission. Baptismal Integrity is a registered charity.
